There are a wide range of playing opportunities for girls and women of all ages in community cricket.
Entry Level
Junior Blasters (Ages 5-7)
Junior Blasters is the nationwide format for introducing children to cricket. The Junior Blasters Program features lots of fun, fast paced activities that improve cricket skills and social skills.
Nearly every cricket club in Perth runs a Junior Blasters Centre and each centre is welcoming to boys and girls. For more information about Junior Blasters visit play.cricket.com.au.
Master Blasters (Ages 7-10)
Master Blasters is an exciting new format that uses the skills learnt from Junior Blasters and builds on them in a game environment. Short, fast paced games allow for skill development as well an opportunity for people to learn cricket. For more information visit play.cricket.com.au
Junior Girls
Perth Scorchers Girls League (Ages 10-17)
The Perth Scorchers Girls League is the overarching girls-only junior community cricket competition in WA.
This League is open for girls aged 10-17 years of all abilities and skill levels. Each Junior Cricket Association in the Perth Metropolitan area administers their own Perth Scorchers Girls League local competitions, with some exceptions being administered by the WACA.

Premier Cricket Youth League (Ages under 17)
The Youth League is the Premier Cricket option for girls under the age of 17 who demonstrate the talent and potential to play senior premier cricket and ultimately, state cricket.
The Youth League will help support the development of underage state team players and encompasses both 20 and 40-over formats. It is played on Sunday mornings from October to March, involving teams from six premier clubs.
Opportunities in under 14 age brackets for girls are currently being progressed, please talk to your local Premier Club.
Senior Women
Perth Scorchers Women’s League
The Perth Scorchers Women’s League is a community club based competition with modified T20 formats, played on Sunday afternoons around the Perth metropolitan area.
This competition is suited for junior participants looking to continue their community cricket journey or adults looking to get involved in cricket for the first time. It is appropriate for all ability levels, and is a 17 years and above competition.

Premier Cricket
The Female Premier Club Cricket competition is for women and girls progressing out of Community Cricket and is the pinnacle of competitive club cricket in Perth. It is played on Sundays around the Perth metropolitan area. Both T20 and 40/50-over formats are played through A and B Grade teams.
