Comments from the Staff Engagement Survey:

"I really appreciate the Culture at WA Cricket. It’s been a highlight to be amongst such a great group of people."

" I enjoy and appreciate the opportunities for WA Cricket staff to come together whether through staff meetings, special events like RU Ok? Day or season launches. I also value the transparency of the Leadership Team that ensures all employees feel included and valued through open and honest conversations and communications."

"Diversity in the workplace, inclusivity and awareness of the social atmosphere is done so well. To engage and be honest about acknowledging the Whadjuk people of the Nyoongar nation. Also ensuring that we stand with people that are a part of the LGBTQI+ community and the days that we acknowledged that has been my most proudest as an employee of any organisation I have worked for. We ensured that the world knows that WA Cricket and cricket is for everyone"

WA Cricket’s vision is to be a leader in Australian sport, connecting WA communities through cricket.

What we aspire to achieve is one thing, but the culture we create that enables us to achieve is equally important. We are committed to creating a culture that encourages our staff to be creative, innovative, respectful and to embrace diversity.

Cricket is a sport for all and we believe that by embracing diversity, and building a space where all members of the community feel accepted and celebrated is paramount to expanding cricket within WA. Through our work with our Reconciliation Action Plan, female participation, all abilities cricket as well as the LGBTQIA+ space, we aim to achieve just that.

WA Cricket Values

Our WA Cricket Values reflect our shared beliefs and aspirations, they give meaning to our work and what we stand for.  They're the foundation of our culture and who we are, shaping how we interact with each other, our fans, and the community.

These values are all about what really matters to us as an organisation, helping us stay true to our vision and purpose. You could say that they act as WA Cricket’s signature – they define who we are and what we represent to others.
