• Chief Executive Officer
    Christina Matthews is Chief Executive Officer of the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) and a former Australian cricketer. Named the country's most capped female Test player and holding the record for the most dismissals by an Australian wicketkeeper, Christina is one of only three women in the world to hold the position of CEO of a first-class cricket association.

    Carla joined the WACA in 2007 as Human Resources Manager, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the hospitality and finance industries. Carla is responsible for developing a fit-for-purpose strategic people framework, growing talent and capabilities, pursing wellbeing as a priority, embedding teamwork, and adopting efficient systems and processes.

  • GM - WACA Ground and Support Venues
    Joanna joined the WACA in 2012 with over 20 years' of senior management experience, largely across UK venues hosting international events. Joanna is responsible for all operations and facilities at the WACA Ground, including leading the venue delivery of international and domestic cricket matches and other major events.

  • GM - Community Cricket
    Jo started with the WACA in July 2016 with over 25 years' experience working in the sport and recreation industry, at state, national and international level. Most recently, Jo was the inaugural State Manager for the Federal Government's Active After School Communities Program, Manager of the State Government's Physical Activity Taskforce and Manager Regional Services for DSR.

  • GM - High Performance
    Kade Harvey joined the WACA in 2014 as Strategic Advisor to Justin Langer for the BBL in 2014-15, and helped the club secure its second championship. Following a successful stint with the BBL side, Harvey was then appointed as a full-time assistant coach with the WACA. Harvey also has an extensive background in business management. In this role, Kade leads the WA Men’s and Women’s State teams, Perth Scorchers, as well as Coaching and Talent Development and Cricket Operations.

  • Chief Operating Officer
    Justin started with the WACA in 2019 and has over 20 years experience in financial management and commercial operations in the retail, travel and foreign exchange industries in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. His most recent roles were General Manager Finance and Administration, Company Secretary of Travellers Choice Ltd and prior to that the Western Australian General Manager of Flight Centre.

  • Matt joined WA Cricket in 2023 after four years at Cricket Australia as Communications Manager for the Big Bash Leagues. A former journalist at Nine and News Corp, Matt oversees WA Cricket and Perth Scorchers’ Communications, Marketing, Digital and Partnerships strategies to drive connection and engagement with the game.
