The Margaret River Senior High School Indoor Cricket team enjoyed a memorable experience earlier this month, with a visit to the WA Men's training session at Revolution Sports in Perth.

The visit was part of the team's trip to the city for the 2025 School Sports WA Country Week competition.
The highlight of the visit was a special Q&A session with members of the Men's squad, which included Australian representatives Jhye Richardson and Lance Morris as well as star players Aaron Hardie and Ashton Agar.
The students had the opportunity to engage with the players, asking questions about training routines, match preparation and life as professional cricketers.
Following the Q&A, the school group observed the state squad being put through their paces by Senior Assistant Coaches Beau Casson and Tim McDonald.
The intense training session offered the students a rare glimpse into the high-performance environment of cricket at the highest state level.
Margaret River Senior High School Team Coach and Teacher Shane Joyce expressed his gratitude for his team having the opportunity to attend the training session.
"We really appreciate the opportunity provided to the players to watch and interact with the Men's squad during one of their training sessions," he said.
"It will be a special memory for the players."
The visit comes at an exciting time for the Margaret River Senior High School team, who went unbeaten during the first three rounds of the Country Week competition and claimed top spot in the B-grade competition.
