Pathway Tour Matches: Not a formal Cricket Australia competition. Each season WA Cricket organises a series of matches (either hosting in Perth, or travel away) against an interstate opponent. Can vary in age group from U16-U19, to provide more competitive opportunities for talented players within our system.

Development Program:
Implemented as required across the season, this program will host individual training sessions in specific skill sets (WK/Batting/Bowling) for players identified in the 12-14 age bracket. These touch points provide younger players the opportunity to receive high-level coaching in their primary skill set, with coach development opportunities to be offered to their Premier Club Coaches.
Youth Academy Program:
A high-quality, individualised training program for WA female cricketers to develop technically and tactically in their primary skills set, with physical development a secondary goal. Through their involvement in the program, players will gain a better understanding of the qualities and behaviours required to thrive as professional cricketers in a High-Performance environment. 2025/26 Youth Academy athletes range in age from 13 – 17 years old. The Youth Academy operates in two blocks throughout the season, Winter (July-September) and Summer (February-March).
Academy Program:
A high-quality, individualised training program for WA female cricketers to develop technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills. Through their involvement in the program, players will gain a better understanding of the qualities and behaviours required to thrive as professional cricketers in a High-Performance environment such as the WA Women’s and/or Scorchers teams. 2025/26 Academy athletes range in age from 14 – 20 years old. The Academy operates in two blocks throughout the season, Winter (June-September) and Summer (January-March).
