WA set to unleash Morris on England

Morris made a successful return in Premier Cricket last weekend, taking two wickets for Scarborough in their T20 clash with the Country XI.

The highly anticipated encounter is set to be Morris’ first competitive match in more than 18 months, having missed the entirety of season 2025-26 with a back injury.

Morris is set to team up with fellow exciting quick Mahli Beardman, who was named in Australia’s One-Day International squad to take on England in a three-match series starting Friday 13 November at Perth Stadium.

Fellow quicks Albert Esterhuysen (managed) and Liam Haskett (omitted) are the only players to drop out of the squad that took on New South Wales in their most recent One-Day Cup clash.

After making his debut against New South Wales, Corey Wasley is in line to play his second List A match.

WA will be out to score its first limited overs win of the season, having fallen short of Tasmania, Queensland and New South Wales in their past three One-Day Cup encounters.

The match will be streamed exclusively on cricket.com.au.
