Naidoo, Subiaco-Floreat Cap Stellar Seasons On Premier Cricket’s Night of Nights

Naidoo claimed WA Female Premier Cricket’s most prestigious individual award for 2025-26, following an outstanding season for the competition’s pre-eminent club.

The allrounder scored 318 runs at 79.50 and took 12 wickets at 19.91 in the A Grade One-Day competition, which helped Subiaco-Floreat to a second consecutive title in the format.

Naidoo’s impact wasn’t just limited to the 50-over format, scoring 144 runs at 28.8 and taking nine wickets at 16.22 in the T20 competition’s regular season, which Subiaco-Floreat would also go on to be crowned champions.

Such was Naidoo’s influence on the T20 competition, she was named the champion player in the format, while teammate Mikayla Hinkley (269 runs) and South Perth’s Danielle Gregory (11 wickets) were the leading batter and bowler respectively.

The Karen Read Medal capped another prolific season for Naidoo, who finished runner-up to Rebecca McGrath in the same award 12 months ago.

Hinkley’s fine season was also recognised, finishing second to Naidoo in the prestigious award.

She becomes the 10^th winner of the highest honour in Female Premier Cricket, joining the likes of current WA Women’s players Amy Edgar, Mathilda Carmichael, Bhavi Devchand and McGrath.

Naidoo scored three half-centuries across both formats and an unbeaten 155 off 169 balls against South Perth early in the One-Day competition.

Unsurprisingly, Subiaco-Floreat had the greatest representation in the WA Female Premier Cricket Team of the year, with Naidoo and Hinkley joined by back-to-back Jenny Owens Medallist Lottie Aird, Alison Healey and Jess Emery in the team.

Subiaco-Floreat took home the Female Club Championship once again, after claiming the A Grade One-Day and T20 Premierships.
