Securing the bid from Cricket Australia is the result of many years of collaboration, advocacy and a shared belief in the power of inclusive sport.
As Perth and the Peel region welcome athletes from across the country, the heartbeat of the Championships lies firmly within the community. Clubs across metropolitan and regional Western Australia have stepped up with remarkable dedication, volunteering their grounds, their people and their passion. Match Managers from local clubs — supported by enthusiastic SEDA College placement students — are helping deliver a seamless week of competition, showcasing the strength and unity of WA’s cricketing family.
Honouring Our State Representatives
In the lead-up to the Championships, WA Cricket proudly hosted Cap Presentations for the 2026 State Representative teams. Fourteen players, coaches and managers were recognised for their achievements and contributions, marking a deeply meaningful moment for all involved.
The ceremony celebrated three outstanding teams:

With 59 matches being played across 14 venues, and the support of partners including the WA Cricket Foundation, Westpac, Taverners Australia, the WA Government and countless community clubs, the stage is set was set for unforgettable week of competition, connection and celebration.
