The Ashes rivalry will spring to life at the WACA Ground on Thursday 20 November, when members of the England’s Barmy Army take on Australia’s Tony Galati fan group.

The two teams will square-off in a T20 charity match, supported by City Of Perth, called ‘The Bashes’ at the WACA Ground less than 24 hours before the first ball of the keenly anticipated NRMA Insurance West Test at Perth Stadium.

Tickets cost just $15 with all proceeds going to the WA Cricket Foundation.

Gates open at 11am with the first ball scheduled for 12pm.

The match proceeds the much-hyped WEST FEST, which will unite cricket and entertainment across multiple venues including Perth Stadium, the WACA Ground and Burswood Park.

WEST FEST will be anchored by the opening men’s Ashes Test from November 21-25 at Perth Stadium, the first time the two sides will clash in the longest format of the game at the venue.

Cricket fans will also get the chance to head to the Ashes Afterparty at the conclusion of Day 2 of the Ashes Test, to watch the Perth Scorchers take on the Adelaide Strikers in the Weber-WBBL 11 clash at the iconic WACA Ground.

Meanwhile a short walk away in Burswood Park, a free, family-friendly festival will celebrate the people, places, cultures, and stories that make Western Australia one of the most vibrant and diverse places in the world.

Perth had its first taste of International Cricket on Sunday, with more than 42,000 fans packing Perth Stadium for the One-Day International between Australia and India.
