One of the highlights of the National Indonesian Women’s team’s recent tour of Western Australia was a T20 clash with the WA Women’s Aboriginal team at Lakelands Reserve.

The match was one of the key events in the side’s 11-day tour of Perth, which also featured training and match play with the WA Women’s team, as well as several High-Performance sessions at the WACA Ground.
Indonesia had the opportunity to bat first in the encounter and made their way to 1-138 at the completion of their 20 overs, with the only wicket coming in the opening over of the innings.
The visitors then restricted the hosts to 7-96 in their reply, taking wickets at regular intervals.
The WA Cricket Foundation supports the WA Women’s Aboriginal team through the generosity of donors towards the Aboriginal Pillar.
Members of the travelling Indonesian side also had the chance to take part in the WA Women’s intrasquad clash less than 24 hours later.
