Perth is preparing for its biggest ever summer of cricket with tickets already exhausted for Day One of the NRMA Insurance West Test.
Ashes Announcement: Packed Stadium for Day One of West Test
One of sport’s great global rivalries will reignite from 21–25 November, triggering unprecedented demand for the inaugural Ashes Test Match at Perth Stadium.
It is expected this season’s West Test will eclipse the record for Test cricket attendance in Perth, which sits at 103,440 set during the 2017 Ashes series at the WACA Ground.
It is also set to smash the record for Day One of an Ashes Test, which stands at 22,178 on Day One on 14 December 2017.
The match is the centrepiece of the West Fest, which brings together three iconic WA events - the NRMA Insurance West Test, a Perth Scorchers Weber WBBL match and WA Day Festival, in a celebration of everything uniquely “West Aussie”.
The capacity crowd means the only way in to watch Day One is through a WACA Membership which secures access to every match of the summer, including the West Test, Men's ODI and Women’s Test Match against India, KFC Big Bash League, Weber Women’s Big Bash League, and all domestic fixtures played in Perth.
Tickets are still available for Days Two-Four, with fans encouraged to purchase now through Ticketmaster to avoid disappointment. Further Day One tickets may become available from operational holds closer to the match.
