Bringing together three of WA’s most iconic events – the NRMA Insurance West Test Ashes, a Perth Scorchers Weber WBBL match, and the WA Day Festival – WEST FEST will unite cricket and entertainment across multiple venues including Perth Stadium, the WACA Ground, and Burswood Park.
Anchored by the much-anticipated opening men’s Ashes Test from 21–25 November, WEST FEST promises to light up the city with a blockbuster program of live sport, music, food, fan experiences, and cultural moments, creating an electric summer atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
Members and fans can expect an unparalleled experience celebrating the best of WA, from the light-filled city to the postcard coastline, world-class cuisine, bustling pubs and premium wineries, all set against Perth’s sunny, dry weather.
In a historic milestone, Perth Stadium will host its first-ever Ashes Test, delivering a fiery contest between two cricketing giants. This will be the first time the rivals have met since the nail-biting 2023 Ashes Series in England, setting the stage for another epic chapter in their storied rivalry.
And the action doesn’t stop when stumps are called. Cricket fans will experience the best of both worlds this summer – an epic Ashes opener at Perth Stadium, followed by Big Bash at the iconic WACA Ground.
Head to the Ashes Afterparty on Day 2, Saturday 22 November, to see the Perth Scorchers in a Weber Women’s Big Bash League match at the redeveloped WACA Ground, including the pitch-side 50m pool and thrilling waterslides.
Meanwhile a short walk away in Burswood Park, a free, family-friendly festival will celebrate the people, places, cultures, and stories that make Western Australia one of the most vibrant and diverse places in the world.
Honouring our communities and cultures from Aboriginal heritage to multicultural traditions, the WA Day Festival is a celebration of the many communities that shape our identity and future.
Following record-breaking international crowds last season, demand for tickets is at an all-time high as Australia’s national sport gears up for a summer of world-class cricket in 11 cities across 14 venues.
The announcement coincides with general public tickets on sale with more than 57,000 tickets to the West Test already sold during the pre-sale period.
Cricket Australia’s Golden Ticket also returns this summer with fans having the opportunity to upgrade their Ashes ticket for the ultimate experience. More info can be found here.
Fans are encouraged to check on sale times and act fast to secure their seats. More information can be found at cricket.com.au/tickets
