WA has confirmed its Women’s playing squad for the 2025-26 domestic season, headlined by the return of home-grown allrounder Heather Graham from Tasmania.
WA Women's Squad Locked in for 2025-26 Season
The squad contains three players on Cricket Australia contracts, 15 on the primary list and a rookie.
Graham returns home to Western Australia after spending the past four summers in Tasmania, where she played a crucial role in their recent Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) success.
The 28-year-old will add significant experience to WA’s lineup, having already made 78 WNCL appearances (44 WA, 34 Tasmania) since making her professional debut in 2011.
An international-calibre talent who holds a Cricket Australia contract, Graham has also represented Australia on six occasions (one ODI, five T20Is) and is one of only two Australian women to claim a T20I hat-trick.
Promising swing bowler Ebony Hoskin will also call Western Australia home in 2025-26, moving from her native state of New South Wales.
Hoskin is no stranger to Western Australian cricket fans, having impressed during her stint with Perth Scorchers in last season’s Weber Women’s Big Bash League.
The right-armer took seven wickets across 10 matches during WBBL|10, showcasing her versatility and skill at all stages of the innings. Her performances last season were recognised earlier this week, signing a two-year deal to stay with the Club until the end of WBBL|12.
Talented teenager Ines McKeon earns a maiden state contract after impressing for WA at the Cricket Australia Under-19 National Championships.
McKeon made her WBBL debut for Melbourne Stars against Perth Scorchers at the WACA Ground last October and immediately showcased her prodigious talent, striking 50 from 43 deliveries.
The 18-year-old also displayed her skills in the 50-over format, finishing as WA’s leading run scorer in the National Championships played in Perth in January.
Known for her powerful ball-striking, McKeon produced a match-winning half-century in the opening game of the tournament against Tasmania, blasting an unbeaten 65 off 37 balls to guide her team to a convincing victory.
Rebecca McGrath and Maddie White also receive state deals for the first time, following WNCL debuts for WA last summer.
Twenty-year-old McGrath has been added to the list after a dominant season in WA Premier Cricket for Melville, where she was crowned the Karen Read medallist as the best performed player in the Female A Grade competition.
The batting allrounder finished with 265 runs at 37.86 and 19 wickets at 11.79 during the A-Grade One-Day competition and 185 runs at 37 and 11 wickets at 7.55 in the 20-over format.
Across all formats, McGrath tallied four half-centuries, including a highest score of 80 in a victory over South Perth.
McGrath’s outstanding form was rewarded with senior selection, playing six games after making her WNCL debut against Queensland in October.
After crossing over from Victorian Premier Cricket side Prahran at the start of the 2024-25 season, White receives her first state rookie contract off the back of a promising first season in the West.
The 21-year-old produced several impressive new-ball spells for Premier Cricket side Melville and was selected for her WA debut against ACT in Canberra in January.
White will complement the group’s current pace bowling stocks, which includes experienced pair Piepa Cleary and Taneale Peschel, rising star Chloe Ainsworth, Zoe Britcliffe as well as new additions Graham and Hoskin.
Batters Lisa Griffith (retired) and Bhavi Devchand are the only changes from last year’s list.
The WA Women's team will return from annual leave on Monday.

Comments attributable to WA Women’s Head Coach Becky Grundy:
“Heather is clearly a quality player, but we believe the experience and competitiveness she brings will help the group just as much.
“Ebony’s also a competitor who embraces every challenge that’s thrown her way, while the energy she brings to the squad is enormous.
“Seeing players like Ines, Rebecca and Maddie earn their opportunity is testament to their hard work, as well as our Female Pathways Program.
“Overall, we’re excited about the list we’ve built and the group is hungry to take another step forward in 2025-26.
“We know we’re capable, we’re prepared to do the work, and we’re eager to get the pre-season underway.”
WA Cricket General Manager – High Performance Cricket & Elite Teams, Kade Harvey said:
“Overall, we’re happy with the blend of experience and youth on our list.
“Heather is among the better allrounders in Australia and knows our program well, so we’re confident she’ll add a lot when she’s available.
“It's exciting to have Ebony in WA full-time. She’s another pace bowler with promise and showed a lot for the Scorchers last season.
“We’ve seen plenty of Ines and Rebecca through our Female Pathways Program, and Maddie got a taste of the WNCL last year.
“Those additions, as well as the natural growth of our other players, should have us well-placed to improve upon 2024-25.
