President of Kingsley Woodvale JCC John Davey has created an environment at the Club that is inclusive and fun for all participants.

“David has a special talent for tailoring his team training sessions to ensure every player is developing at their own pace, setting goals they can achieve and feeling like they have accomplished something new each time," he said.

"He is extremely dedicated to the role and supports the training for all three under 12 teams at the Club, making it fun and enjoyable for all.

"He runs warm-ups with the team, net sessions as well as dynamic training drills where you can notice the improvement across the whole group, it's impressive to watch.

"David also works to establish links with the district club to promote the premier cricket pathway for those young cricketers capable of progressing their cricket journey further.

"The respect he has developed within his team and our club is truly admirable."

David Bloxsome was very humbled to receive the award.

“It’s been a very humbling experience to be awarded the Volunteer of the Month.

"I’ve always said that when you do something you love and have the support of a wonderful club and people, it makes this award even more special and at the end of the day it’s not about me, it’s about the kids and they bring me so much joy," he said.
