It’ll be a case of Friday night lights for the first time in several years when WA host Tasmania in a Marsh One-Day Cup match on Friday 15 October.

The two sides will then do battle in a Marsh Sheffield Shield fixture beginning Sunday 19 October.

Revisions to the schedule have been made due to state border restrictions, public health conditions and their related impacts.

Both WA fixtures will be live streamed on Kayo and cricket.com.au, with the Marsh One Day Cup match also broadcast on Foxtel.

WA Cricket General Manager – High Performance Kade Harvey said;

“Our squad are coming off strong performances against South Australia and are very eager to continue building that momentum into home fixtures against Tasmania.

“WA Cricket welcomes the return of day-night fixtures, it has been a while since we’ve seen a One-Day Domestic match finish under lights at the WACA Ground, it’ll be exciting and a great opportunity for Members and fans to come after work and enjoy the atmosphere.

“We understand we need to remain flexible this season and will keep working closely with state associations and CA to navigate through the challenges of scheduling cricket around border restrictions.”
