The annual event sees male and female players from across Country WA compete in under 14s and 16s matches from Monday 10 January to Friday 14 January.

A total of 43 teams will face off across four days for a chance to make the Final, to be held at the iconic WACA Ground for the first time.

Country Cricket Coordinator Andrew Hayes said;

“It’s great to kick off yet another exciting, competitive and successful Junior Country Week.”

“The week is an incredible opportunity for young cricketers from all the regions of country WA to showcase their skills and passion for our wonderful game on some of the very best cricket grounds Perth has to offer.”

The Junior competition will be followed by the Alcohol. Think Again Senior Country Week in Perth and the Women’s Country Week in Geraldton, as teams square off to be crowned the best in country WA.

Running since 1907, WA Country Week is the biggest cricket carnival in the state.
